Patrick with Ollin Trujillo in Las Vegas, New Mexico
About
I shoot primarily large format film and I have been working on a long form documentary project in the city of Vernon, California for roughly 6 years. Vernon is home to the largest lead contamination remediation project in California history. More than 10,000 homes have been contaminated with lead & arsenic. Vernon's complete disregard for the surrounding communities and the environment has had a cataclysmic impact on the area. Vernon is rife with political corruption, nepotism and unchecked power. I was born in Camden, New Jersey and am based in Los Angeles.
Graduated from the photography program at Santa Monica College in 2013.
In 2015, I completed a master class at Getty center. The class was centered around the exhibit Light, Paper, Process
and was hosted by Getty educator Peter Tokofsky.
Currently I work in the photography department at Santa Monica College as the lab tech manager and teach photography workshops at Alcove LA.
